Hello Everyone! I began my new life in March of 2007. By August of 2007 I had lost 80 lbs, and after 4 years of trying with no success, I finally became pregnant, but unfortunately suffered a loss. I got right back on my regimen. And, by March 2008 I was down 102 lbs. By September of 2008 I had reached a total weight loss of 115 pounds when my husband and I found out we were pregnant again COMPLETELY naturally! Our little guy is due in 2 short months.
I am so emotional, fired up and passionate about what i did for myself. I decided i was FED UP with being overweight, tired, hairy, childless, bitter and utterly miserable! I want to share this with you all. I want you guys to feel how wonderful i feel now, about myself and my life and even my PCOS!

does anyone in here have any instructions for healthy dog weight loss,My dog is obese and I want to start a weight loss scheme with him tommorrow but I would like it to be a healthy scheme anyone here have tried and tested result and instructions for me please?

I also discussed this with my vet, who gave me the same suggestions my MD did for my weight loss: less food, more exercise.

Breakfast: 1/2 an apple
small banana
clementine in sections
(all mixed together in a fruit salad)
with about a cup- cup 1/2 of 1% milk
Lunch: ham, salami, and cheese on wheat bread with lettuce and tomato.
and about a cup of baby carrot sticks
-with water
Snack:
1/2 cup of pretzel sticks
Dinner: 8oz grilled chicken breast cutlet
cup of brown rice
salad
with unsweetened iced tea (1-1 1/2 cups)
— plus she is constantly drinking water throughout the day, about 6 bottles.
Is this a healthy diet?

I don’t think that I would recommend the same thing every day. It sounds pretty good though, as long as you, or she is taking a good multi vitamin as well. It’s also good for your body to have a high fat day every once in a while, to keep it guessing, and your metabolism going.

i have gained a lil extra weight after having kids and over the winter just need some suggestions…thanks
never NEVER never try to lose wieght quickly.. it will come back as quickly as you lost it. try this instead (a change in lifestyle):
First thing- don't change how much you eat (unless it is WAY WAY to much), start out by changing what you are eating. If it comes in a diet option, try it. If you are drinking 1% milk, try skim (or the next percentage down), avoid juice (liquid calories are way to easy to consume and hard to get rid of).
Second thing- Watch out for when you are eating these things, often times it is better to have smaller meals and snack throughout the day.
Third thing- NEVER EAT FAST FOOD. It is essentially a slow acting poison on your body and can lead to more health problems than you can think of.
Fourth thing- if you don't exercise, start out going for walks in the park or somehting, then bring it up to a light jog (once you are comfortable), then slowley bring up the intensity.
Fifth thing- Evaluate everything you put in your mouth, (i.e. avoiding higher fat meats like ribs, pork.. try fish instead or dear or chicken… then general meat rule is that the fewer legs it had as an animal, the better it is for you). Also, think about what goes into you ask yourself, "Should I be eating this?"
Sixth thing- You don't have to be doing all this 100% of the time, treat yourself, but recognize your priorities when it comes to it and don't let "treating yourself" get out of hand.
How can I boost my metabolism after taking prescription diet pills for several years?

I’m a mother of 3 who just recently gave up several bad habits including smoking, drinking energy drinks daily, and taking prescriptionn diet pills. I decided that I need to clean up my bad habits for my children’s sake, but of course my metabolism is crazy!!! I am gaining weight really fast. What can I do to kick start my metabolism before it’s to late?
its going back to what it would be.. you cant without going back to old habits. it would be this way if u never started… metabloism raises with drinking alot of water though, slightly but decreases with age is natural
