Lose Weight, Lose Fat
Balanced Diet For Balanced Weight
Lose balance in any sphere of your life. You are flooded with unfortunate consequences that are most undesirable. Similarly going unhealthy is the prime symbol that you have lost the balance in your diet. Thus you have lost the control on your weight.
Depending on balanced diets is the best and the most natural way to maintain good health and have direct control on weight. You need not spend extra bucks on weight loss or diet programs and have to practice techniques for cutting down calories if you shape your lifestyle with a balanced diet.
Formulating the balanced chart
You are aware of the basic nutrients the body requires. The chart is a readymade one. But the proportion of each nutrient to make a balanced diet for an adult is important. What is the key source of energy? Of course the carbohydrates followed by fat and then you require an amount of proteins for growth. Vitamins and minerals come in the next category but they are equally important for your well being.
More or less this can be the division pattern of the nutrients. You can consume a diet where the amount of carbohydrates can be up to 60%. The proportion of fats has to be half of the carbohydrates. A bit lower than that will be better. You can have protein in between 12 to 15 percent.
Gain balance with self-control
The best help is self-help. This is very much appropriate for your diets. Unless you are able to moderate your hunger pangs and feel the importance of controlling your diet from within it is very tough to abide by the set norms of a balanced form of diet.
Proper meals should be broken into 4 to 5 parts a day and you must eat in these parts. Break your day’s diet into breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. At the break of the day, you must eat the maximum and at the end of the day the diet has to be minimum based on very low calories. Don’t either keep your stomach empty or overeat a single time. They are very dangerous habits and increase your appetite.
Knowing theoretically about the balanced diet won’t be of much help until and unless you follow it. For developing a routine habit you will have go practice the self-control methods. Build up this practice for your health sake and let the world adore your great physique.

The most common cause for the symptoms that you describe is an unhealthy diet. The usual unhealthy diet is poor quality dried kibbles.
In almost all cases, you can fix these problems by gradually switching to a high quality canned food.

Give her a good canned cat food. If she really is fat, some of them come in low-cal versions. But she can't live on dry kibble alone. Ours gets a little canned cat food twice a day, and the kibble is always there for her to help herself.
You say she's losing a lot of fur. Does she have bald patches? If she does you should take her to the vet. If she's just shedding, that's normal. You could brush her to remove the loose fur so she doesn't shed it all over the place. She'll probably love it, most cats do.

You're going to want to put your cat on a high quality wet/canned food. Wet food has far less carbohydrates in it than dry so it makes weight loss easier, plus it's healthier for cats anyway.
The reason is, in the wild, cats normally get most of their water content directly from their prey items and drink very little. Domestic cats are no different, and because of the fact that they are designed to take in water with their meal, they have a very low thirst drive. Cats often just don't drink enough. This leads to urinary tract infections and crystals. The bit about dry food being better for teeth is a myth and has not been proven in the least (cats barely even chew their dry food and, really, does a pretzel clean /your/ teeth? Cats should have their teeth brushed with cat toothbrushes and cat toothpaste at least a few times a week as well as see the vet for dental cleanings when necessary /regardless/ of what they are being fed). Canned/wet food is better because it more closely mimics the cat's natural diet. More on why canned food is best:

Another option to get cats to drink more would be a cat fountain. Cats tend to like to drink from running water and cat fountains see to that need, encouraging cats to take in more water.
Make sure the food is a high quality one. A high quality cat food also won't have as many carbohydrates and grains in it.
Examples of low quality foods to avoid: Anything you can find in a grocery store will be low end, Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Royal Canin, Whiskas, Fancy Feast, Friskies, Meow Mix.
Examples of high quality foods to look for: Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Felidae, Fromm Four Star, Merrick, GO Natural, Nature's Variety Prairie, Nature's Logic, Artemis Fresh Mix, Timber Wolf Organics.
Seriously on a budget? Two of the most affordable of the higher quality foods would be Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul and Felidae.
You could even go entirely grain free. Diets high in grain/carbohydrates have been attributed to problems with diabetes in cats. Many of the high quality foods now put out grainless formulas. Some good grainless diets include: Innova EVO, Wellness CORE, Blue Wilderness, Nature's Variety Instinct, Orijen, Horizon Legacy, Merrick Before Grain, Fromm Surf & Turf, Now!, Sold Gold Indigo Moon, Ziwipeak, and Taste of the Wild.
Remember that foods should be switched gradually (mixing the new slowly in with the old over the period of about week or so), especially when switching to a higher quality one, so as not to upset tummies. For example:
Days 1 & 2: 75% old food, 25% new food
Days 3 & 4: 50% old food, 50% new food
Days 5 & 6: 25% old food, 75% new food
Day 7: 0% old food, 100% new food
If you're freefeeding… STOP. This is the fast lane to feline obesity. Read the feeding guidelines on your cat's food and feed accordingly. Adult cats are typically fed two meals a day.
Lastly, you want to keep your cat active. Get your cat engaged in games and playtime!

Start with a premium quality cat food like Wellness or Ennova. Free feeding is rarely a good idea. Feed her twice a day and add some green beans to keep her feeling full to keep her weight down.
